Welcome to our beautiful State of Perth, Western Australia where you have chosen to study with us at Westin College. Before we share all the wonderful stories about life and living in Perth, we wanted to take this time to take you through our enrolment process!
The first thing you will need to do is to consider which course/s will best help you achieve your life and
career goals, and then check and ensure that you meet each of the terms and conditions of your course
entry and visa requirements. For our Diploma and Advanced Diploma courses, you must have
completed Year 12 at high school and you will need to achieve a minimum score of 5.5 on your IELTS
(Academic), 42 on your PTE (Academic), or its equivalent.
Once you have confirmed your chosen course/s, you will first need to fill in and submit Westin GTE
Assessment form followed by Westin Enrolment Application. You should attach certified copies of all
required documentation and supporting evidence (such as a notarised copy of your passport, academic
qualifications, your English/Academic levels), as well as a payment confirmation (receipt) that you have
paid the required Enrolment fee.
If you are accepted into the course, you will receive a formal Letter of Offer and a written Student
Acceptance Agreement which you will need to complete, sign and return to Westin College. If you are
accepting the enrolment offer, you are also required to purchase your Overseas Student Health Cover
(OSHC). On receiving your Student Acceptance Agreement (the offer to enrol) and your payment
confirmation (receipt) for your course enrolment of Semester One (1) tuition fees and a copy of your
OSHC policy information, Westin College will issue you with your Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE)
Compile all the documents required to lodge your student visa application - you may engage an agent
to lodge a visa for you, or you may lodge it yourself in person or online. The processing times may vary
so we recommend you lodging your student visa application as soon as you receive your CoE.
Once your student visa is granted, you can start planning your move to Perth. Your Westin College Pre- Departure Handbook has lots of good information and links to assist you with your preparations and trip. You will then need to advise us of your flight details – at least One-Week PRIOR to your expected arrival in Perth.
